Today

Today the Congregation of the Apostolic Sisters of Saint John numbers about 200 sisters of 21 different nationalities. More than 50 sisters are in formation, 30 of these are novices. The sisters are dispersed among 21 priories within nine different countries and upon four continents.

In France, the Community of the Apostolic Sisters of Saint John has the status of a legally recognized Congregation (Title III of the law of July 1, 1901); this juridical status is close to that of an association [or non-profit association] in the common public interest. The congregation has the benefit of its own juridical standing in other countries in accordance with local laws.
